Research updates
Pharmaceutics division is engaged in the development of oral sustained release dosage forms, transdermal drug delivery systems, colon targeting, ocular drug delivery and pre-formulation research. Pharmaceutical Chemistry Division is engaged in Research areas of synthesis of pro-drugs, brain targeting, colon targeting, QSAR, Combinatorial Chemistry and development and validation of various analytical techniques. Pharmacology Division is engaged in Psychopharmacological investigations, Studies on Traditional Systems of Medicine, Screening of plants for memory enhancing, anti-anxiety, anti-psychotic, anti-parkinsonian, anti-ulcer, anti-inflammatory and antidepressant activities. Pharmacognosy division is engaged in phytochemical and pharmacognostical standardization of herbal drugs, tissue culture and emerging trends in herbal technology.
