Centre for Renewable Energy & Storage at the Suresh Gyan Vihar University strives for excellence in academic programs, research, professional training, and expert consultancy in the fields of renewable energy, energy storage technologies, and energy efficiency. Through industrial exposure, we give in-depth knowledge, understanding, and skills by connecting theory and practice. Renewable energy is an important part of India's solution to its rising energy needs. Furthermore, as seen in more mature markets, renewable energy technologies are more labor-intensive than more automated fossil fuel technologies, and therefore present a huge potential to create local jobs. Demand-side services, including as installation and sales, account for the vast majority of renewable energy jobs. Component manufacture, project planning, building, financing, engineering, system analysis, and operations and maintenance are all common careers in the renewable energy industry.
The Centre for Renewable Energy & Storage's mission is to create a platform for students to learn about renewable energy while also getting hands-on experience. Solar energy technologies, as well as alternative energy resources and storage technologies including hydrogen energy, electrochemical energy, Li/Na-ion batteries, and others, are being developed at the centre. We have always placed a strong emphasis on energy research, which serves as a bridge between national and international research organisations. In order to bridge the gap between current energy infrastructure and future energy needs, the courses not only focus on renewable energy, but also include in-depth understanding of traditional energy sources.
