Seminar and Workshop

Workshop: School of Law, Suresh Gyan Vihar University, Jaipur organized a Seminar on the Topic ‘Legal Education- Vision of a Just Society’ on 21 February 2022. The seminar was highly valuable for everyone, especially students who are thinking about studying law which is one of the most rewarding careers both personally and financially. It was the first time that SGVU organized an exclusive Seminar on Law. Hon’ble Acting President SGVU Ritu M. Gilhotra and Hon’ble Registrar Sir Graced the Seminar as chief guests. The guest speakers were powerhouses of knowledge about the law. The session began with Mr. Garvit Yadav sharing his key thoughts on ones’ understanding of the phrase ‘Justice’ and why it is not easy to understand what is ‘just’ in complex situations. He threw light on how laws are changing with changing times and how so many topics are now front and center of discussion/ amendments. This is where he really described the need for legal research and greater understanding. The guest speaker Ms. Jyoti Saxena talked about the three main persons namely Lawyer, Judge, and complainant being responsible in the process of delivering justice. The talk was interesting and we are sure that it was not only useful for our students but for all the members of the University as well. The vote of thanks was addressed by Hans Kumar Sharma, Coordinating Head, School of Law, SGVU.
