Student Mentor

They are young campus ambassadors passionate to learn new technologies in Cloud Basics, Big Data, and Machine Learning, and enthusiastic to share their learnings with fellow colleagues.
GCCF Student Mentor acts as the primary conduit between campus students, faculty and Google team.

Responsibility of Student Mentor
  • Evangelize and mentor campus students on Google Cloud & Qwiklabs
  • Organize student online session/create groups to address their queries
  • Encourage students to complete Quest and Skill badges which are part of the Program and help them to build interest to learn more by solving other Quests & Skill badges too. (List will be shared with Student mentors during introductory call)
  • Complete at least 2 extra skill badges from the pool of options available before Semester ends.
  • Mentor for Career Readiness Program (if your institution is qualified for Career Readiness Program in the next semester)
  • Be the point of contact on campus for queries related to Google Cloud Computing Foundation Program.
Task of Student’s
  • Google has given some tasks to students.
  • Google Cloud provides 201 credits to each student for completing their labs on their Mail-id
  • CloudSkillBoost/QuickLab provides a platform for competing tasks.
  • Qwiklabs provides lab learning environments that help developers and IT professionals get hands-on experience working with leading cloud platforms and software.
  • Qwiklabs provides temporary credentials to Google Cloud Platform and Amazon Web Services so that you can get real-life experience by working on different cloud platforms.
Advantage of Program For Student’s:-
  • Students are introduced to GCP (Google Cloud Platform).
  • By doing Quick Lab, they easily understand the GCP.
  • Google has assigned some tasks to students for completion, after completing the task they provide us with a "Completion Certificate"
