We know, theoretical knowledge is not enough for making a good professional career. Industrial visit has its own importance in a career of a student who is pursuing a professional degree and is considered as part of college curriculum. Industrial visits are usually the first point of interaction between a student and a live working industry. The students learn about the latest technology trend and make up their minds about their future job or area of interest. Objectives of industrial visit are to provide students an insight regarding internal working of companies. With an aim to go beyond academics, these visits provide students a practical perspective on the world of work. It provides students with an opportunity to learn practically through interaction, working methods and employment practices. It gives them exposure to current work practices as opposed to possibly theoretical knowledge being taught at college. They provide an excellent opportunity to interact with industries and know more about industrial environment. At School of Agriculture, Industrial visits are arranged by with an objective of providing students functional opportunity in different sectors of Agriculture. Suresh Gyan Vihar University understands the significant importance of field trips and excursions for a student’s overall development. To supplement the classroom learning with practical exposure, School of Agriculture organizes various industrial visits so that students can gain practical insights into industry operations and be ready for the outside world. The University leaves no stone unturned for the holistic development of students by giving them quick access to state-of-art facilities so that each student gain high self-esteem, more knowledge and grow stronger in his/her career.
