Suresh Gyan Vihar University is the house to one of the largest, most well – equipped & well – stacked libraries in Asia. Christened as “House of Wisdom” which matched International features such as fully Automated Bar Coding System as well as other multimedia facilities. Besides a very Innovative Book Bank Facility; three Library Cards to Students and five library cards to faculties are issued to ensure there’s never a dearth of reference Books for scholars or teachers.
For the Learners’ convenience; the Library is operational for 11 hours every day on weekdays and also opens on Sundays so that the Learners can reap maximum benefits out of Library facilities available. Another very unique feature of the Library is the Hi-Fidelity, Highly Advanced Audio – Visual Equipment to enable the users to experience the innumerable Audi Books in the Library’s vast collection. The Student-centric Management of Suresh Gyan Vihar University has very thoughtfully also constructed several reading chambers, for a calm and serene environment of hours and hours of undisturbed knowledge enrichment.
Additionally, besides innumerable physical books, the House of Wisdom also has countless E-resources in its repertoire which can be accessed through an Google Play Store App.
B) HOSTELS: RESIDENCE LIFE @ SGVU
Suresh Gyan Management’s Student-centric and Innovative approach in all its endeavors are stamped over all aspects of the University. A fine example of the same is Residence Life. The Campus is home to Six Hostels; out of which Four are Boys’ Hostels and Two are Girls’ Hostels. Each Hostel has been named after Freedom Fighters such as Surya Sen, Ashfakullah, Birsa Munda, Bismil, Panna Dhay&Manikarnika under its unique “Collegiate System”, where in every Hostel has House Masters who monitor the various Sports and Cultural Activities of various Hostels, along with festivals and various College Events. Such activities are extremely vital in fostering the spirit of belonging amongst students. All hostels also have individual wardens to supervise day to day management. Over and above all this, a Director – Residence Life is appointed to take care of all Hostel – related issues.
All hostels are Having modern buildings, with round the clock security, pleasant surroundings, and mess facilities. The Hostels are quite spacious and comfortable with well furnished, self-contained and fully maintained rooms. All the rooms have been designed to provide adequate space excellent cross - ventilation and sunlight. All the rooms are fully furnished and come with basic amenities like bed, table, chair, a small cupboard and electrical fittings. A recreation hall with facilities for indoor games like chess, carom encourages students to make good use of their leisure time. One L.C.D TV per block is also provided. Reading Rooms are provided in every Hostel where students can read magazines and newspapers to keep themselves updated. Pure vegetarian and homely food are prepared by skilled cooks in hygienic mess. In addition, facilities like 24 hours Security & Power Backup, Wi-Fi Enabled Campus, Free Gymnasium Facility & Yoga Classes, Banking Facility of ATM counter, Indoor and Outdoor Games facility, Free Computer Labs are also available for Students in Hostels. Sanitary Pad incinerators are also installed in Girls’ Hostels for maintaining perfectly hygienic conditions.
C) SPORTS:

Suresh Gyan Vihar University has all the necessary amenities for the Sport-loving Students of Gyan Vihar. The University boasts of a lush – green Cricket Ground, complete with an International standard pitch, Cricket Nets, a Football ground, along with Volleyball, Basketball & Badminton Courts. All necessary equipment are available for Students and Coaches for all Sports are available for training the Students to be winners. The facilities show that we believe in the overall development of the students, be it Academics or Extra co-curricular activities.
D) CAFETERIA:
Adorned with Neo – chic, elegant & exquisite interiors, exotic menu and mood-setting theme music, the SGVU cafeteria offers a whole new culinary experience to both students and staff members alike. The cafeteria is spacious, extremely well – furnished with comfortable seats and modern kitchenware & cutlery. The cafeteria not only provides the students with good tea, hot & cold coffee, soft drinks, juices and sumptuous snacks such as chips, sandwiches & muffins, etc. but also with lunch & dinner “Thalis” sand sumptuous snacks amidst great ambiance. Backed by the motivation of providing the students with exciting choices, the university is constantly striving to provide them with the classic “Café” experience.
E) GYMNASIUM:
For proper physical development of the students, the University provides two well-equipped Gymnasiums where students work out to keep themselves fit. In addition to a conventional Gymnasium; a second Open – air Gymnasium has also been set up. A Physical Trainer is available round the clock, which creates a Dynamic Exercise Regime for lovers of Body – building.
F) 24X7 WI FI ENABLED CAMPUS:
State of the Art, fully Air-Conditioned, modern Computer Labs, providing Licensed Software for Analysis & Simulation where a small Batch size of 21 Students supervised by a Faculty and a Supporting Technical Staff. Additional time for Lab Practice is also allowed beyond the designated Lab Classes.
G) OPEN AIR THEATRE:
Designed after Roman Amphitheatre of yesteryears, the Open Air Theatre built inside Suresh Gyan Vihar University Campus which hosts various Cultural & Entertainment Activities, besides the prestigious Republic Day and Independence Day Functions. Apart from regular co-curricular activities; interactive sessions, seminars, debates and presentations are organized here.
The Open Air Theatre has a capacity of seating more than 1,200 people with facilities for projection, stage equipment and green rooms.
H) KALINDI:
An auditorium occupies a vital & critical space in an organization, especially if its an educational one. Kalindi, meaning the Yamuna in Hindi, and originally a Sanskrit word, is an auditorium in SGVU campus is a wonderful piece of architecture with a seating capacity of 300 guests, equipped with Central Air Conditioning, LCD projection, luxurious green rooms, enables with wi-fi, sophisticated and latest sound & lighting system for congregations, lectures, debates, conferences, seminars, academic talks, workshops, semester commencement & end meets, award ceremonies, plays, musical performances, concerts, etc.
I) ACHARYA PURUSHOTTAM UTTAM BHAWAN:
This centrally air-conditioned Modern Auditorium is the Crowning Glory of SGVU is WI FI enabled and equipped with Advanced Technology Line Array Audio System, Ultra – Modern Lighting and Projection Facilities. It has a stage space of 2500 Sq. Ft. with a seating capacity of accommodating 850 Guests. Prestigious events such as Convocation and International Stature such as hosting the Rajasthan Royals Team in 2018.
J) TRANSPORT:
In another example of its student-centric approach, SGVU has started providing Free transportation services to all its Scholars from 1st January 2020. A fleet of new Buses operates to and from all corners of Jaipur. The highlights of the transport services provided by SGVU are extremely well-coordinated, punctual and regular. Bus services are also provided to students and faculties for industrial visits & tours. Backup support is always at hand in the event of any vehicle breakdown.
K) BANKING AND ATM FACILITY:
The University offers elaborate Banking Services within the campus premises. The University maintains its salary & corporate accounts with the leading Nationalized Corporation Bank, making it easy for Students & Staff Members to get Banking Services on the Campus. The Bank has also installed an ATM facility for the convenience of Students & Staff inside the Campus. Two Additional ATMs of HDFC Bank & Axis Bank have also been installed on the Campus.
L) CAPTIVE POWER PLANT:
When it comes to Innovation, Suresh Gyan Vihar University leaps and bounds ahead of its counterparts and competitors. SGVU has its own Solar Plants which not only provides all the Power requirement of the University but also to neighboring areas. There is a power production capacity of 240 KW.
M) MEDICAL FACILITIES AND PHYSIOTHERAPY:
SGVU has Dispensary which is a Primary Health Care Centre, operational 24 x 7 to cater to any and every medical emergency which can be taken care of at the Primary Level. A qualified Doctor and Nurse are always present at the Dispensary to attend to the Students. A female doctor also visits the Dispensary to take care of the well-being of the female students.
Physiotherapy OPD Services active ,where a Qualified Physiotherapist is available between 9 am – 5 pm for any Physiotherapeutic requirements of Students & Staff Members.
