About Us

M.Tech Electrical Engineering is offered with three specializations i.e. Power System, Energy Engineering and Digital & Wireless Communication Engineering. 

M.Tech. Power Systems Engineering offers advanced specialization in power systems. The program covers related specialities such as System Analysis of Power, Planning of Stability Evaluations, Forecasting and Reliability, Power Electronics and Drives, High Voltage DC Transmission, Industrial Electronics and Controls, Wind and Solar Energy Electric Conversion System etc. Power Systems Engineering course familiarizes students with processes of analyzing, developing, designing and evaluating high-end power systems for managing a variety of challenging projects and research work.

>M.Tech. Energy Engineering is designed keeping in view the latest trends in the field of Energy Engineering. The students are given an overview of the various subjects of these two disciplines during the tenure of their program. Therefore, after completion of the program, the students are well versed with the entire area of two disciplines and their application in the current scenario.

>M.Tech. DWCE is designed keeping in view the latest trends in the field of Digital Communication and RF Engineering. The students are given an overview of the various subjects of these two disciplines during the tenure of their program. The various papers that are put to study during the program include the study of Microwave, Digital Image Processing, Wireless Communication and Communication in details. Therefore, after completion of the program, the students are well versed with the entire area of two disciplines and their application in the current scenario.

The Suresh Gyan Vihar University, Jaipur is a renowned University, established by an Act of State Legislature in the State of Rajasthan by the Suresh Gyan Vihar University, Jaipur Act, 2008 (Act No. 16 of 2008). The University is ranked by NIRF-2024 in the Rank-Band of 101-150 with the School of Pharmacy at 49th rank, and also university appeared in the overall rank band for the first time in the rank band 151-200.
