About Us

The Ecosystem for Incubation & Entrepreneurship is designed to collaborate and foster the ingenious ideas coming from students to make use of commercial success and societal impingement. Entrepreneurial ventures translating ideas from academic research to deliver practical benefits to the communities. Hence, the Ecosystem for Incubation & Entrepreneurship is naturally tilted to dig out the critical and preparatory learning for entrepreneurs especially in the inception and transitional levels of their venture. The support provided to start-ups includes – space and infrastructure, access to business support services, mentoring, training programs to enhance the skills of entrepreneurs and seed funds, to help entrepreneurs survive in the competitive market and reach a stage where they can scale up their ventures further.

Ecosystem for Incubation & Entrepreneurship is set up with a mission to trigger techno- entrepreneurship through revolutionary and creative thinking using multi-dimensional approach. Hence, we strive hard to transform the students into entrepreneurs by backing purpose-driven entrepreneurs to equip the power of technology to untangle the problems of the society.

Our centre is dedicated to provide counselling, guidance, mentoring and incubation support to the students. Hence, the centre conduct regular lectures, discussions and open programs for promoting entrepreneurship. Any school or college or voluntary group can request the centre for conducting awareness programs on Social Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation.

Selection Process

Entrepreneur/Start-up can submit an application through the online portal. The selection process will be performed in 3 states as described.

Step: 1
Online submission and Screening

Applicant submits an online application by providing basic information and responding to a set of questions that will gauge the entrepreneurial awareness and capacity of the Entrepreneur/Start-up to convert the business proposal to a product or service that is market ready. EIE Team will screen the applications based on eligibility and Internal Selection Team will shortlist candidates for Boot Camp event.

Step: 2
Boot Camp and Business Pitch Presentation

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to participate in a one-day Boot Camp to help entrepreneurs understand the different elements of creating a fundable Business Plan. This will be followed by a Business Pitch Presentation the next day before a Selection Panel including experts from Industry, Investors and EIE Management Team.

Step: 3
Selection and Incubation Offer

Based on the Business Pitch presentations the Selection Panel will finalize the list of applicants to whom Incubation will be offered. Finalists will be invited to discuss the terms of Incubation Agreement. Incubation will commence after execution of Incubation Agreement.
