Suresh Gyan Vihar University celebrated National Science Day with an exciting Science Week from February 27 to March 4, 2025. The event brought together students, faculty, and science enthusiasts for a series of engaging activities that made learning both fun and interactive. From thrilling competitions to hands-on scientific exploration, the week was a true celebration of innovation and curiosity.

The purpose of this Science Week was to inspire students to explore science beyond textbooks, encouraging critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving. By blending academic knowledge with interactive experiences, the event aimed to make scientific learning more engaging. Through quizzes, exhibitions, and innovative games, students had the opportunity to apply their knowledge, collaborate with peers, and showcase their talents in various scientific disciplines.

The week kicked off with Science Pantomime, where students participated in an exciting round of Dumcharades, acting out scientific concepts, discoveries, and famous scientists. This unique approach to learning encouraged creativity while testing participants' scientific knowledge in a fun and interactive way.

The excitement continued with the Mystery Maze, a treasure hunt designed to challenge students' problem-solving and teamwork skills. Participants raced to decode scientific clues and solve puzzles, making their way toward hidden treasures while strengthening their logical reasoning and analytical thinking.

A thrilling Science Quiz added to the competitive spirit of the week, where students engaged in a battle of knowledge across three rounds. Covering scientific facts, innovations, and discoveries, the quiz tested their expertise and quick-thinking abilities, making for an intense and knowledge-driven contest.

As part of the celebrations, SGVU students visited the Atomic Minerals Directorate (AMD) in Jaipur, where they explored groundbreaking research and innovations in atomic minerals. This hands-on learning experience provided valuable insights into one of the most critical areas of scientific study, fueling curiosity and inspiring future scientific endeavors.

The grand highlight was the Science Exhibition, where students showcased nearly 50 innovative projects spanning diverse scientific disciplines. Their creations demonstrated impressive problem-solving skills, focusing on solutions for human health, environmental safety, and technological advancements. The exhibition not only highlighted their scientific potential but also encouraged discussions on real-world applications of science.

The celebrations concluded with a prestigious Award Ceremony, where winners of various events were recognized for their creativity, teamwork, and scientific excellence. A special mention goes to Khushboo Meena, who made SGVU proud by securing 2nd Prize in the National-Level Quiz conducted by the Atomic Minerals Directorate. Her achievement stands as a testament to the university’s commitment to fostering scientific talent.

The success of Science Week was driven by the passion and dedication of students, faculty, and organizers. Their enthusiasm made the event an inspiring experience, reinforcing SGVU’s commitment to nurturing young minds and encouraging scientific exploration. The Suresh Gyan Vihar University, Jaipur is a renowned University, established by an Act of State Legislature in the State of Rajasthan by the Suresh Gyan Vihar University, Jaipur Act, 2008 (Act No. 16 of 2008). The University is ranked by NIRF-2024 in the Rank-Band of 101-150 with the School of Pharmacy at 49th rank, and also university appeared in the overall rank band for the first time in the rank band 151-200. It is due to the consistent effort of ensuring quality and ethics in our delivery that the SGVU has been granted an "A+" grade accreditation by NAAC, achieving a score of 3.32 out of 4. Furthermore, the university's agriculture program and college have received accreditation from ICAR for five years. Based in Jaipur, it is also one of the only few research-driven Universities in Rajasthan with DSIR-SIRO recognition. Other major program approvals includes PCI, UGC-DEB, RCI, BCI, NCTE and AICTE.
